Dr. Silvia Geron
Dr. Silvia Geron is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She received her DMD (dental surgeon) in 1980and her MSc. (Cum Laude Majore) in 1991 from the Hebrew University Hadassah School of Dentistry, where she was a member of the Orthodontic Department during 1991-1996. She maintains a private practice limited to orthodontics, Emphasizing Lingual and adult Orthodontics.
Dr. Geron is currently the President of the Israel Orthodontic Society (IOS), the Secretary and founding member of WSLO (world society of Lingual Orthodontics), Examiner of the Israeli Dental Association Scientific Council-Orthodontic Examination Committee, Reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and for the Angle Orthodontics. Dr. Geron is Director of Lingual Orthodontics in the international postgraduate orthodontic program in Tel-Aviv University and Tel-Hashomer Hospital, IDF, Israel.
Dr. Geron was the founder and the editor of the Journal of the Israel Orthodontic Society (JIOS) and the founder and editor of the electronic Adult and Lingual Orthodontics journal (www.lingualnews.com).
She is an active member of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO), The World Society of Lingual Orthodontics (WSLO), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), the American Lingual Orthodontists Association (ALOA) and the Israeli Orthodontic Society (IOS).
Dr Geron lectures extensively all over the world on the topics of adult multidisciplinary orthodontic treatment and Lingual Orthodontics.

Dr. Rafi Romano
Dr. Rafi Romano is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He maintains a private practice in Tel Aviv, (Israel) limited to orthodontics, with emphasis on adult and lingual orthodontics. He is clinical instructor at the Department of Orthodontics, Tel-Hashomer Hospital, IDF, Israel.
He was the President of the Israel Orthodontic Society -IOS (www.orthoisrael.org) in the years 2001-2003. He is currently the Secretary-Treasurer of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry- IFED (www.ifed.org). He earned his DMD degree (dental surgeon) in 1984 and his MSc. (Cum Laude Majore) in 1991 from the Hebrew University Hadassah School of Dentistry, where he was a member of the Orthodontic Department during 1991-1996.
He was the founder and the editor of the Journal of the Israel Orthodontic Society (JIOS) and is now editing the new web journal on adult and lingual orthodontics (www.lingualnews.com). He is the Editor of the books "Lingual Orthodontics" (B.C. Decker Publishing, 1998) and "The Art of the Smile" (Quintessence Publishing - Germany, 2005). Dr. Romano serves as an examiner of the Israeli Dental Association Scientific Council-Orthodontic Examination Committee. Dr. Romano is an Invited Professor at the Department of Facial Orthopedics and Orthodontics, Specialization and Master course, of the University Paulista UNIP, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is an active member of the European Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (www.eaed.org), international member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), and international board member of the American Lingual Orthodontists Association (www.lingualbraces.org) and World Society of Lingual Orthodontics (www.wslo.org).

Dr. Pablo A. Echarri has practice limited to orthodontics in Barcelona (Spain). He is the president of the Sociedad Ibero-americana de Ortodoncia Lingual (SIAOL), Member of the Director Board of the American Lingual Orthodontic Association (ALOA). He lectures and give courses in Spain and all over the world.

Dr. Ziskind
Dr. Ziskind is a clinical senior lecturer at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Hadassah School of
Dental Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He received his Dr. med. dent. degree from the School of Dental Medicine, Georg-August-Univertsity, Goettingen, Germany, and graduated with distinction as a Prosthodont at the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Jerusalem. Later he spent a sabattical year, as a research affiliate at the Department of Periodontology, Free-University Berlin, Germany.
Dr. Ziskind received several times the Best Lecturer award, given by the Rector of the Hebrew University. He is actively involved in dental materials research, particularly in the area of microleakage and other aspects of adhesive and esthetic dentistry. He also maintains a part-time private practice devoted to restorative and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Ziskind serves on the boards of the Israeli Society of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Ziskind has published several journal articles on the subject of orthodontic forced eruption and has also presented on this subject, continuing education courses. |

Prof. Dr. Dieter Muessig was born 1956 in Nuernberg (Germany), graduated 1983 from the University of Erlangen, received the doctor degree in 1986; specialist in Orthodontics since 1988, senior assistant at the Department of Orthodontics at the dental school of the University Erlangen between 1989 and 1996;
1994 Habilitation and junior professorship.
